Mary Krakowski, DVM

Dr. Mary Krakowski received her DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) from Iowa State University, College of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2010 where she graduated magna cum laude and in the top 25% of her class. Throughout veterinary school, Mary developed a strong interest in veterinary dentistry and oral surgery. Prior to her veterinary education, Mary attended Bucknell University in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania where she received a Bachelor of Science in Biology in 2006. While at Bucknell, Mary was captain of the women's swim team and a member of the sorority Delta Delta Delta. She also worked at an emergency animal hospital in her free time, and volunteered as a children’s swim instructor. Mary’s hometown is Erie, PA; she was born and raised in Erie and knew as a child that she wanted to become a veterinarian. Mary enjoys spending time with her fiancé, Brent, who is also an Iowa State veterinary graduate and their German Shorthaired Pointer mix, Ruby. Additionally, she enjoys swimming, running (with Ruby as her running partner), hiking and reading.
