Virginia Kiefer, DVM

Virginia grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and then received her undergraduate degree at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio where she earned a Bachelor of Arts in Zoology with a minor in Neuroscience. She then attended veterinary school at the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in the Class of 2010. She chose to pursue an internship in order to develop her interests in emergency/ critical care, oncology, and internal medicine and to gain experience in a high quality private practice. She is an avid horse enthusiast and considers horseback riding out on the trails her favorite activity. Someday, she hopes to practice veterinary medicine with both small animals and horses. She also enjoys hiking, running, rock climbing, swimming, snowboarding, and most other activities that are in the great outdoors. She is very excited to explore all the outdoor activities that Colorado has to offer! She also enjoys relaxing, reading, and spending quality time with friends, family, and her two orange cats, Mango and Kiwi.
